September 6, 2026 Power Outage Update:

10:15 AM Worship Will Meet.

6:00 PM Worship Is Cancelled.

Dear Church Family,

We will meet for worship at 10:15 AM on September 6th. The evening service is cancelled.

The church building is without power indefinitely. We are able to run the sound system through a generator, but we do not expect to have lights or air conditioning. Please feel free to dress casually according to the weather. Our water and bathrooms are working and will (somehow!) be lighted.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ACCESSING THE CHURCH: As of this afternoon the church cannot be accessed from below (driving up Maus Dr. from Lincoln Way or Daily Dr.) because of the downed tree and power lines. You must access Maus Dr. from Clay Pike, above. At the Maus Dr. / Clay Pike intersection there are "Road Closed" signs/cones. You may ignore the "Road Closed" signs, drive around the cones, drive down Maus Dr., and park as normal in our church parking lot.

I will abbreviate the service somewhat in view of our circumstances. We will serve communion. I will preach on Psalm 99 (my evening sermon text), forgoing Ephesians this Sunday morning.

Please spread the word to friends or visitors who may not receive this email.

I look forward to being with you in God's presence tomorrow,

Aaron Garber

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
